The Art of Us 2026

A Curated Exhibit Celebrating
African American Creativity in Williamson County

The Art of Us 2026 is an artistic collaboration between the Shotgun House History and area artists. You are invited to submit your work to the exhibit.

Important Dates:

  • The Call For Art closes August 19, 2026

  • Notice of acceptance by August 26

  • Art Drop-off: Tuesday, September 1, 9 AM - 11 AM, WCAG Gallery

  • Art Pick-up: Monday, September 28, 9 AM - 11 AM, WCAG Gallery

We are using EntryThingy for submissions to this exhibit. You will find the guidelines for the show and the application in that system. Submission is free and there are cash prizes for pieces that place in the judging.

Meet the artists, enjoy refreshments, and celebrate our community! There is a companion event at the Shotgun House the same evening.
